When it comes to my work, I know what I can do and I am the least bit confident about doing Prenups or Wedding Photography. But since a good friend of mine had asked me to shoot their Prenup, I didn't have any second thoughts. Here's a peek at what I had of them when we shot this a few months back.

My first trip to Bacolod has proven to me that people there are really warm and hospitable. The highlight for me was not the festival but it was meeting new people who were always interesting subjects to me.

Thanks to JC and his wonderful wife, Kaye for welcoming us.

Thanks to the team who helped me while I conducted the workshop there --- Jon, Dino, Doc Jun.

Thanks also to my sponsors who graciously supported this workshop --- iStudio, Western Digital, Wacom, Aperture Trading, Abacus MicroComputers and finally, Canon Philippines.

Really enjoyed Bacolod, it's wonderful scenery and beautiful people. It was the first time in my life that I ate so much chicken! And I will forever remember that fiesta song.

Thank you Bacolod for the memorable experience. I will definitely be back, but hopefully less chicken next time. (I love chicken but I can't believe I'm saying this, I had to really detox afterwards! Ang raming manok kasi!)

While preparing my photos for another competition for my club, I found one from my file that I don't remember any more. It's like seeing new materials for the very first time. I got sidetracked from working on something for the contest and instead processed this.

I'm not sure if I'm losing my touch. But discoveries like this drives me to put out and deliver, to have the same enthusiasm like the first time.

I can't come up with a good descriptive title for this one and I know that for every one of you looking at this photo, there's a certain impression, emotion or story playing in your head. What's the first descriptive word that comes to your mind when you see this?

ROMBLON : A FOUR-DAY JOURNEY

My Romblon trip last week was such an adventure. We got there and the weather was unwelcoming. This is where I've experienced sleeping without any electricity while getting soaked from the rain, as well as hiking for 10 kms (while getting soaked from the rain!) that I almost want to take my feet off, hopping from island to island while getting soaked from the big waves.

I was able to see the area where last year's big typhoon, Frank, hit. It remains a good adventure nonetheless. But I was just really happy to be back on Manila soil.
